Default O2 eliminators

Did anyone who made there own o2 eliminators have any trouble with them not working? I read on the instructions that they might not work with a 2001 1/2 and newer cars.

I made them and they didn't work for me but then a couple weeks later they started working for some reason.

you need top reset your ecu when you install them, disconnect your battery and touch the terminals together for ~20 seconds. that resets your computer and all codes. i did that when i made my own and they have been working for about 5k now

wouldn't just leaving the terminals disconnected for 15-20 mins work the same? never heard of touching the terminals together. you mean the + and - battery cables?

Yes leaving them disconnected works also, but you short the two to discharge any capacitors quicker.

got the off road h put in today, what a pain in the ***. I the front driver side o2 sensor was hard as hell to plug back in, and the passenger side studs were bad too.
Im gonna make the o2 eliminators tomorrow and give it a shot

No need for touching them, just disconnect them.
