x pipe install gone bad! HELP!

used a tap and die set. drilled out the bolt,drilled out eventually and i rethreaded it.
got the x pipe on today finally and im happy with my purchase,made the car sound a little different and rpm's seemed to rise alot quicker,chirp second easily now.

Glad to hear you got that bolt drilled out, I had that same problem on a Suburban that has been used for 13 years of fishing at the beach. So imagine all of the salt exposure rusting those bolts on. I tried the heating route and then tried to drill the sucker but realized that the application of the heat essentially hardened the bolts making it near impossible to drill. I ended up with a new exhaust manifold, fortunately you were more successfull.
