i have a 98 4.6 and it is overheating. i have replaced the radiator, the water pump, pulled out the thermostat and done a pressure test of the cooling system. there is no water in the oiul or oil in the water. does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? thanks for the help

Is it over heating when you are being hard on it or just in normal driving?

Are you bleeding the air out of the system? If there are no air bubbles, then is the cooling fan still coming on? Turn the AC on and see if the fan works.

This sounds kinda dumb, but if it has recently been in the shop or something, check the spark plugs, it has happend to me before, my car was overheating, b/c those dumba***s didnt put my spark plugs back on right, we did everything like you to figure it out, and it was something so stupid!
good luck, hope you find the problem!

Question

+ 1 on checking your electric fan make sure that it turns on as soon as you see your temp going up, it or check if it comes on when you turn on your A/C, I am not sure if the electric fan is also control by your temp sensor but that might b another thing to look for if anyone else knows bout this correct me if i am wrong like i said im not sure...lol
