will lowering my stang with springs be ok with the stock shocks and struts?
I want to lower my stang, any suggestions?? I was thinkin of gettin the entire adjustable shock an strut kit, but I am unsure of what springs to order with them, or to just get steeda or eibach lowering springs and not the shocks and struts.

I would recommend getting the whole setup. The ride will be twice as nice, I know this cause I'm riding on stock shocks and struts and its bumpier than what anyone would really want. Oh yeah and get the Eibach setup if your going to get them all in a bundle. Otherwise I would get H&R sportline springs and Tokico Illumina shocks and struts.

For the car to handle properly you should get new shocks that are valved to work with the new springs. Lowering springs will have a different rate and cause the shock to not sit in the proper range of travel. Can you skip shocks? Yes you can but the stockers willwear out faster and not give the right amount of damping.

Does eibach make shocks and struts? If so is there a kit that comes with lowering springs, shocks, and struts? And if there is would someone send me a link to where I could purchase the kit? If not does steeda?

Hey, yeah they make a nice kit with everything you'll need.. go down half way and its the proline kit. The pic of what your getting is at the bottom. I think that 686. isn't bad when it includes front and rear anti-roll bars too..

Edit: shipping if free too..

To put in the new springs, whatever your choice, you have to essentially disassemble the front and rear ends anyway and freshly align the front. While things are apart, it is much easier to also add new struts and shocks at the same time, especially if you are having the work done for you. Why pay for the same labor twice?
I opted for the Steeda sport springs, Tokico blue sport struts & shocks (non-adjustable, my choice, didn't want the pain of adjustment all the time) with the KYB quads. I did also add the Ford Racing rear upper control arms at the same time. All works very well together and the car handles like it is on rails now. Much, much improved.
Good luck with your ride!
