It looks that you did a very good job installing it and it looks clean too. How much? and where? anyway, great job and cool pics too.

I got it from HERE, cost like 90 bucks. The site has a write up on how to install it on 99-04 mustangs. I went with the Silver body (duh) and red leds.
I had a small Autometer light in my honda (no Rice bowl for me) and I like this light much better.

Nope no indiglo's. They are just silver face overlays. Look good during the day. Dissapointed at how they look when lit up. The light blows through the tach face makeing a checker board pattern and the numbers get fuzzy if the dash light is up to high. The HVAC overlay doesn't get bright enough though!.

Somthing like that what what I'm looking for. I cant see spending 300 dollars on a Tach and Shiftlight when I already have a good looking tach in the dash! I bet its brighter than a standard shift light. Is it easy to see durring the day time? Also how bad was the drilling, cuz that part is gonna hurt .

Yeah it's real bright during the day, I'll find out how it is at night later today. Red and Blue are the best colors for a visual stimulus. It is much brighter then the yellow shift light I had in my Honda.

do they wire straight to the headlight **** or do they have a relay?
sorry to hear you are not 100% satisfied and hope i don't have that problem with the reverse glows. ill let everyone know if the reverse glows do that also.
i think the silver overlays look good during the day though

RE: Shift Light Installed
No they don't light up. You remove the factory overlay and install the new ones in it's place (for my application) That's it. no wiring or anything. It uses the factory dash lights.
I like them during the day, just not a fan of them at night. I might try a set of UPRs later this year but I don't want to end up with the samething[:@]
