Default Liquidized Freon in A/C compressor

What can cause my 2003 GT to get Liquidized freon in the compressor. It (the compressor) started knocking real bad this morning and after a little investigation, my compressor is getting liquid coolant instad of gasous.

Also, Does this mean my compressor is done for?

Thanks, Chris

Are you sure this is liquid freon, and not the lube?

I couldn't tell you for sure, I just know there is liquid and it's KNOCKING very hard, but the A/C stil blows cold?

No, It starts knocking everytime the Compressor engages.

Overcharged, or too much oil--have you added refrigerant or lubricant recently?

I could also be a bad pressure switch...
