1996 Mustang GT intake manifold
My computer got fried about 2 weeks ago and since then I broke my intake manifold replacing a coolant sensor(I love plastic!) but now its up and running again. It did all the work myself and it wasnt all that bad. I pretty easy job when you got the tools. I paid $265 for a new manifold with the aluminum crossover and one of my buddies who has a 98 GT paid $900 for a new intake manifold w/ installation. I told him he got ripped off but he keeps saying that you have to have a special tool to take off the manifold. Well mines running great now and I love that V8 sound. Its my first and im taking super care of her. I've put 1.8 miles since I bought it june 2nd. But It was sitting for a couple days while I was tearing her apart. Just thought I'd catch up with you guys. O ya and my 2000 is running even better now that I found out why I was having a vibration at high speeds. I had it aligned and balanced and I guess some new guy didnt pay attention because all of the lugs on the front left tire where put on backwards. Im glad to be back!
