Another coolant temp position option!

Another coolant temp position option!
OK, so by now you guys know that once I have an idea stuck in my head it's harder to get rid of than AIDS.
Background For the New mustangers: (aren't you proud I didn't call them noobies!)
Early SN's have two temp sensors, one for the ECU (Passenger side) and one for the Temp gauge (Drivers side). When switching over to a PI I/M there is only one provision for a temp sensor. These two sensors can not be combined due to different values.
I am unfortunately stuck with a Plastic cross over which I wont replace until I buy a Trickflow or P51. I do not want to tap the plastic and my last set up looked like Webster in a porno. (tapping into the coolant mod behind the intake)
HERE's my IDEA:
Tap into the LOW side coolant/oil bracket coolant arm. This would be for the gauge not the ECU so it's placement would nessisarily affect drivability and would still have the same +/- as putting it anywhere else.
(Stock gauges suck anyway)
B**ches, Comments, groans, moans, complaint or otherwise welcome.
