URGENT: Broken wheel stud, need help

You should be able to hammer it out....

by hand, push it out as far as you can, put a little grease on the tip where it will meet the abs gear, have it so it is snug, then grab an extension and hammer it out, will pop right out. dont wory about nicking the edge of the gear, the side that counts is the opposite side near the sensor.

if you absolutley must, then grab a cut off wheel and grind the fkr off, but thats just sloppy.

to put it back in- same deal- put it in snug, hammer it in a little, and when you can, slap the lug nut on the thread and pull it through and past the gear ring. you can do all this with hand tools, althogh air guns are nice

the important/hardest part is to get a flat sided lug nut along with some washers, that you will use to pull the stud all the way back in. Again, a little grease doesnt hurt. The only reason i call that hard, is cuz i had to make a special tirp to the 'zone just to buy one. The trip took longer than the actual instal.
