Default Busted Oil Pump

This is for the 4V people that have busted your oil pumps. To help put the "UDPs break oil pumps" thing to rest I'd like to know the circumstances/setup that lead to your oil pump failure.

Piggyback UDP move the dampner further away from the crank which lessens it's ability to dampen harmonics.

So far only 1 person? With all the horror stories floating around the interwebs you'd think there would be more.

I didn't vote because I never broke an oil pump.

Bumpity. Please post if you've busted the pump. I am trying to get the misinformation regarding this subject sorted finally.

Bueller? The lack of responses are making me think that there is more fiction to this than fact.

Ok well I will tell you what 2 of my friends had when they shattered their oil pump gears. Both had BBK pulleys and both did it at the track. I'm gonna guess they were around 6000rpms when they shattered. I personally like the BBK pulleys because I got to rebuild both of those motors $$$.

Were those on 2V's or 4V's? The more detail the better.
