well most shops deal with SCT and they are certified with them so when or if u get a dyno tune having a SCT will be better

If you want to tune it yourself, then Sniper is awesome. I have one, and used it to tune my car when it was NA, and recently when I put a supercharger on it.

Using the canned Sniper 7lbs tune, my fuel trims are perfect. With my wideband, I can see that I'm about 14.8 at idle, and down to 9.5 at WOT. I can use Sniper tune the WOT A/F ratio to get more power, but as of right now it's fine with me. The car is strong throughout the RPM range, and my A/F is dead on through most of it. Tuning for the supercharger was very easy.

Sniper offers tons of options and is really easy to use. I'd say go for it!

HOLD IT RIGHT THERE....

The sniper is good but get the delta forces instead....which is an upgraded software from the special forces (comes with both). If you get the special forces itself, you'll eventually want to upgrade and it iwll cost more.

Forget about AM's free tunes for life thing. IIRC they only send you free updated tunes if you buy the upgrades from them....and at the end of the day it is still mail order tune....inferior to dyno tuning or street tuning

I agree, if heavily modified n/a or f/i you want to get Commando (DeltaForce with only one template--you can buy more).

Special Forces does very well with modified n/a and f/i kits but if you want to wring things out and play with non-kit components Commando is the way to go.

Great kit, but as mentioned before, make sure that is what you want. I have the special forces and it works great. I bought it used, so when I upgrade to commando, I'm not out anything. I can change w/e i want on the fly, you just upload the tunes to the programmer, plug it in, install them to the computer and you are good to go. I just built my tune for the o/r h that is coming and my 4.10s which will be installed Thursday. That way I can drive it right off the lift without having to take it to a pro shop afterward. Sniper is great for a D.I.Yer. Go for it.
