Default Please Help. Coolant leak from firewall on 1998 Mustang GT

Guys im just about ready to give up. I have no idea if there is suppost to be a hose on this thing or what. There is a small plastic part sticking out of the passenger side firewall and it is leaking coolant. not bad enough to over heat the car when it is running but bad enought that im scared to drive the car. The small plastic peice is located about five or so inches above where my shorty headers and x pipe meet. I need help guys.

Two things:

It's the condensation from your A/C draining like it's supposed too.

or

If you're leaking Antifeeze then you just have a bad heater core.

You could just bypass the heater core temporararily. Just disconnect hoses at firewall, and couple them together. This would make it easier to find the time/and or money to fix it.

I have just decided to bypass the heater core permanantly because i dont use the heater anyway. its a summer car anyway so the only thing i need is the a/c for those really hot days

That's what I did as well. I'm on my third bad core.
