Would it be pointless to put a 75mm TB on without doing the Plenum and intake. Would it only function at its lowest point of are flow? Is 75mm a good size to go with on a pretty much stock 2k GT?

no it wouldnt be pointless. its still a modification that you will see great benefit from in the future. are you planing on getting an upgraded plenum? If not i would put that money aside and purchase some 4.10 gears

You wo't see any benfit now with just a TB. For 300 bucks from RPMoutlet you can get a Accufab and a C&L plenum. If you are going to swap the TB might as well do the plenum while you are at it.

Does FRPP make a bigger plenum for a 75mm TB? I want to modify the upper intake but I'd rather have a pony staring back at me than the words Accu-Fab.

I know of people who removed the pony from teh stocker and stuck it to the accufab.

If you go with the accufab plenum the 70mm provided better numbers in a NA application then the 75mm, if you go C&L the 75mm is recommended.

Pointless no, not worth the money right now, probably. Unless you plan on getting a different cam or SC or Turbo, your stock intake and even a 70mm will be plenty. But if you do the intake, might as well do it right and do the plenum as you have thought of.

i dont think a 75mm tb will fit on a stock Plenum, will it? so if it dosen't fit, then it would be poinless because you could'nt put it on. IMO i think for a pretty much stock would be over kill, untill you get some other mods.
