Default 99 Mustang Gt Driver window problems

My front driver side window will occasionally not roll up, all others will. When I press the up button I can see it dim the lights in my interior. So i guess it is getting power. Any advice would be very appreciated.

Try pressing the button and slamming the door at the same time. If that doesn't work, could possibly be the motor going bad.

mine would do the same thing a couple of swift hits right next to the speaker would un-stick the brushes in the window motor.

all others? sounds like you got a 4 door stang. try changing the window motor. it happens when it gets hot out. change some fuses.

Take off door panel and check all electrical connections. Make sure nothing mechanical is binding or broken. Bypass switch with jumper to motor to see if motor operates. If the motor operates, it's probably your window switch. Hope that helps.

if you just hit by the speaker it should free up the brushes in the motor. this is what 2 diffrent ford techs have told me and showed me to do. mine would do the same exact thing that the O P stated his was doing. i had to do this at least 2-3 times a month.

If the lights dim upon oporation of the switch yet window does not move, very likely the motor is failing.

Remove the door trim and check for obstuctions, but suspect you will hear the motor humming and trying to oporate.
