btw... OP: i know what you mean about the plugs on the ls1. i changed the plugs on my sister-in-law's '99 Z28 a while back and i couldn't even get the #8 plug out (or was it #7?). i've heard you have to disconnect the motor mount and jack the engine up a bit to get to it.

Yeah if you turn the car of then turn it back on while the scanner hooked up it will do that I get it sometimes.
