02 4.6 GT Won't start- Service Engine Soon w/ no codes
I need some help w/ my 2002 GT 4.6.
I just rebuilt the heads and put it all back together. It has been sitting for about two months.
I filled it up with fluids and checked for leaks. Everything was good so we started the car. It took about 10 seconds and the car fired up and ran fine.
At this point the only problem was the passenger side manifold wasn't sealed completely, so the car had a noticable exhaust leak.
I let it idle for about 10 minutes to make sure it was lubed up good, and we took it up the road. Drove it for about 10 minutes and the car didn't miss or make any noises other than the leaking exhaust.
On that way back to my house, we stopped in the road and did a full throttle pull. The car launched great, and pulled to redline. When I shifted to 4th the car pulled fine, then about 4000k RPM it just shut off.
We rolled into the driveway and I noticed the "Service Engine Soon" light was on. No leaks, and the car didn't make any noises when it went dead.
Now it won't start, but it turns over fine. No noises and it spins freely.
The service engine light is on, but my reader is not pulling any codes and the tool diagnostics says everything is fine.
The car has 1/4 tank of gas. and is getting pressure to the fuel rail.
What could this be? I don't hear anything mechanically wrong with the engine, and it just went dead during a pull so is this electrical?
I pulled a coil out and put a plug in it, we didn't see any spark when the car turned over.

The theft light went off with the other display lights after a few seconds.
After reading the manual, Ford says that the Service Engine light is caused by 3 reasons
1) No Gas
2) Bad Gas
3) Cap not sealed
I drained the gas and it was dark colored. So I guess after sitting for a couple months it went bad because I didn't seal the gas line off air tight when I had the engine out of the car.
I replaced the gas and the car runs fine. Other than the tick at idle when the car gets warm.
