The Air Bag light is on in my instrument panel. It's been that way since I bought it. How can I find out whats going on?

 

Get it checked out by a shop or dealership (or very competent mechanic friend). That problem not only affects safety but also inspection etc. I would bring it back to the place that you bought it from(if a dealership) and see if they will fix it for free.

 

MOST likely its the contact between the steering wheel and steering column, thats the part that deploys the air bag if needed, either way if u get into an accident your airbags WILL NOT work, so yea get it checked out asap
