ever since I put my LTs in i feel like something is rubbing when i turn the wheel a little bit while driving and on the gas. Also i feel almost like a rubbing when going from a stop like at a traffic light for a breif second. I thought maybe the steering shaft is rubbing but i dimpled the header to fix it, it has about 1/4" clearance on the header now...what could it be? my car is lowered i dont think the wheels are rubbing though

When i installed my BBK LT's they were Rubbing the Steering shaft. It didnt always rub, just on the turns, i could sit at an idle and turn the wheel and feel the point the shaft rubbed...

I jacked the motor up and shifted it closer to the Passenger side. Made for enough clearance. No more rubbing

You should be able to jack the motor up and see if the Header is rubbing the Steering shaft, the Coating of the LT's will be scratched

With the Motor Jacked up, You can agree that its a litle unstable.. Get someone to push it as close to the Pass. Side and Bolt it down in the mount. you will get like Less than an 1 movement, But then again its all you need.....

so almost tilt it towwards the pass, or bolting the pass side first will pull it closer to that mount?
