Default New gauge cluster question

So i just purchased a used gauge cluster for my 99 mustang gt. I was wondering if my odometer reading would be changed when i plug in the new used one? If so where can i get it reset to vehicles actual milage or is there a rogrammer for it? I just dont want my odometer to be off.

I hope you've got a tuning device to turn off your pats because your car isn't going to run with the new cluster.

Found that out the hard way
I was changing my cluster and needed to pull my car into the garage for some reason and lets just say when i went to start it without the cluster it wouldnt... At first i was like WTF!!! but then it dawned on me and i plugged it up and it ran fine.

Where did you get the cluster? The only way i see it working is if it came from a GT... Then you can take the circuit board out of yous and put it in the one you picked up. However, i'm not sure if this would work on the cobra clusters as the tach,odom,ect... are different.

You dont need any tuner.. all you have to do is take the chip off the back of your stock one and put it in your new mach 1 cluster. it takes like 10 min.

Enjoy your new cluster.. I know I do

Looking good!!! I knew it could be done
HOSS, do the needles/ect function right? I assume they would, just not 100% sure.

I had done mine a couple years ago, but it wasnt a mach or cobra cluster

EDIT: now that i look at them, i thought the mach 1 redlined a grand past the GT redline???

yup they function perfect. all the factory 150mph gauges all work the same, its all is controlled by the chips potentiometers. The only ones that wont work without a recalibration are the ones with over 150mph

HOSS, where did you get that gauge, I'm digging that. It looks like it is part of the steering column?

Its the Autometer steering column pod with an Innovate Motorsports G2 wideband A/F ratio gauge.
