Default Shorty's vs. Long Tube??

Trying to decide which I want to do. I think the shorty's look better, but I've heard that the long tubes are more beneficial. They have better flow and more hp gain??

Just looking for some advice on which ones to get. Also good brands?? I was thinking about going with BBK for the headers, Intake Manifold, and throttle body.

If you use the search button, you'll find that this topic been beaten to death. Long story short...do long tubes or not at all.

I have BBK long tubes, several of my friends do as well, and they've been great. They're not the absolute best, but they're great for the price.

I'm getting tired of repeating myself to everyone. Shorties are worth about 5hp and long tubes are worth about 10-15 na with a normal setup.

Not sure what kind of emissions testing is done in Oregon, but here in CA, Longtubes = auto fail.

Something to look into before you make the decision.

well im pretty much just adding to what everyone else said. I betcha theres around thousands of shorty vs long tube threads on here. And whats the difference on how they look haha? Youll see once you put them in how crammed in there they are your not gonna see them anyways. My vote is long tubes. If your gonna go through the pita install of headers why not go all the way and get the most out of it? But next time use the search first...
