This knock is driving me crazy. Any ideas?

Any update on this? My car had/has the same issue, but it would go away after awhile of driving around. Now my car is dead at the moment but I'm going to start a new post to try to figure that out.

No, not much. I sprayed the TOB, the retainer, and anything else that I could with WD40 and it slightly changed the knock. I will have to pull the tranny to find out exactly what is going on, which is low on my priority list.

With your case, it's probably a lash adjuster or the timing tensioners. Mine never goes away.
