Default Clutch pedal out, car doesn't move.

Ok the car moves, but it seems to me that when "letting out" my clutch, the car doesn't actually start to move forward until I've got the clutch pedal quite a ways out. In other words, I don't think I should have to release the clutch this far before the car starts to move. There are no signs of actual clutch slippage. I'm not much of a guru on transmissions. What do you think the problem is here?

Every clutch has it's own catch point, some are higher, others are lower. You could try pulling up on the pedal to set the pedal adjustment. Your clutch could be wearing out too.

The cable adjustment is too tight, there should be 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" free-play in the pedal--here's a good write-up on cable adjustment...
