The t1-s is an awesome front tire, i will give it that, but they dont really satisfy my extreme-a$$hole driving style on the rear, but idk if anything will. I paid 150 each for 2 fz4's which i suppose wasnt too bad, they have great treadwear, but they dont hook... when i nail the gas over 2500 rpm they break loose

Check out the Toyo RA-1's then...these are the ultimate street tires. These are their D.O.T. race tires meant for racing!!! They are simply the best tire period!!! now you aint gonna get mileage out of them, but you are going to get grip!!!! www.toyo.com They are expensive too, just like most racing stuffs...but once you get these tires, you won't want to go back to regular tires!!1 Oh BTW..once the tread gets down to 3-4/32nds...grip is super fantastic, but driving in any wet weather really sucks!!! The RA-1's come with 8/32nds of tread depth...It's like having Drag Radials on except you can go around corners hard!!! Good luck!!!

 

i just talked to a long lost friend of mine who said the falken fk 451's are amazing tires... does anyone have any info to back this up? he was raving about them and he drives like i do

 

I need to get new tires for my baby (GT, 2001). Can someone please straighten out the confusion? I've got stock Goodyear Eagle ZR on them now. The ride sucks in the rain. Can someone give me some advice?<font color="blue">Thank you!</font>

 

Toyo T1-S...the best wet tire you can get..and fantastic dry as well. When it's raining or wet at the Auto X we switch to Toyo T1-S cause they are the best wet gripping tire bar none!!! Try the 245-45-17's for your stang...those are the stock sizes...Check outthe banner ad on www.mach1registry.com on Toyo's...really awesome prices!!

 

255's should work. My buddy haves 255's on his cobra he haves the sumitomo's HTR II's and he haves awsome traction. Doing 80 on a spiral on ramp with out slippin one bit that was nice.

 

Are the g-force's all they are cracked up to be?
