how much do heads/ cams cost....and how much hp will these give me? Im actually thinking about doing the cobra conversion...but not until i do a rebuild on my motro... and ill get cora heads and cams and everything else that i can get. so what is it i need to look into to do this?

what all is needed.....a cobra engine. It would be much more cost effective to just get a cobra motor as it requires a lot of parts to convert to a 4v engine from a 2v.

Just get a 302 (5.0L) crate engine, drop a 2.2L KB on her, replace the rear end, fuel upgrades and other small parts. and call it a day Those are my plans... gonna need around $15k total though lol

^^^^^ I would suspect that, that is what it would cost you to drop in a cobra motor also. So why go with the 302 crate and then add a KB?

Dood......buy some used PI heads/Cams/Intake for like $400. That will get you about 40 or so wheel HP.

^^^^ That would be the best way to spend you money... But you could also get the PI heads and intake, then get a set of VT cams and have some head work done before you install it all and really gain some good RHP!!!!

lol 302 is greater than 281... but i wanna stick wit the stock motor...it will be worth more in 25 years when its all rebuilt and purdy...becuz i dont ever plan on getting rid of it... but i do want it to be a horsepower monster....what can u guys tell me about heads can cams... how much do they cost.. and which ones should i get?
