I am going to participate in drag race this summer. I have never done it before and became very excited.

However my car is mostly stock besides some minor bolt-ons (such as K&N filter, under drive pulleys, hi-flow catalytic converter with x-pipe and ford racing exhaust) which probobly don't do much for better time. The most benefit I would probably get from 275 cobra wheels (traction)



My question to you guys is would it be safe to run 75hp wet ZEX kit on my 80k high mileage engine? I was planning to get window switch for sure.

I am using this car as a daily driver and don't want to blow it up. In one year I may have to sell it as my us visa may not be renewed. So this drag race maybe first and last event in my life.

go for it. most people spray up to 100 without any problems. The best thing you can do is get it tuned for the nitrous. If you dont want to or dont got the cash to i wouldnt worry to much about it.
