SLP loudmouth in my opinion are one of the best I've seen, combine that with a x-pipe with high flow cats and you should be set.
There will always be a debate with X vs H.

X = Pinging, Tinging, Loud sound.

H = Muscle, Deep, Toned sound.

But that is just my opinion on my encounters.

Thanks for the advice and clarification, ghoste and thanks 01GTType, for the suggested combo. That side exhaust is really tempting. I'll calculate both separately and see what kind of totals I get (I also have to buy new tires and possibly put a lot of money into getting the chattering sound it makes when its in gear and cold fixed). While I'm at it, you guys know what would be causing that chattering and how much it would cost if I had Ford fix it? Just figured I'd ask while I got you guys here.

It chatters (definitely from the front) the most when it's cold. The morning is the worst. Does it when it's in neutral and the clutch is in and does it when it's in gear.

Putting a new exhaust on his car won't get him any more $$ if he sells it.

But, I'm trading my GT in for a Cobra shortly, wanna be my girlfriend?

Is the clutch pedal vibrating? If so it is probably the throwout bearing.

Ok, thank you for the suggestion. So if I bought a cat-back exhaust system and wanted an x-pipe I would have to buy an x-pipe w/cats or would the cat-back exhaust system take care of the cats? I would love to have the better performance from an off-road x-pipe but that would make it harder for my bf to sell it if he wanted to. I am SOO clueless when it comes to cats (obviously) and exhaust systems that have to have them.

Ok, nevermind, stupid question. I would need to buy the cat-back system and the x-pipe with cats. I see now. That is all I would need though, right? Assuming I'm keeping the stock headers

depending on where you live, an X can be illegal too (in CA). you don't NEED to buy the midpipe if you only want to change the sound / looks. You can change just the catback and get a new sound.
you already have cats on the car, so you don't need to change those unless you want to. also, why are you all blacknblue? don't you listen? sorry, bad taste, but I couldn't resist...
