Default Exhaust question

I just ordered the Magnaflow Magnapack exhaust. I'm going to get the BBK Long tube headers. My question is Xpipe or Hpipe? I'm getting the o/r either way it go. I know there isn't really going to be much of a difference is hp. I just want a louder throaty sound.

xpipe louder at WOT. H pipe louder at idle. H pipe deeper, x throatier. Its all personal preference. Either way u go, Thats gonna be one hell of an exhaust. Very nice setup!

X & H will be louder than factory H. so even if you get the X, it will be louder and deeper even at idle. the H sounds better when you're cruising around at like 1500-2200rpm. the X still sounds damn nice when cruising, but the H sounds better. the X sounds sick when you romp on the gas though, the H has nothing on the X when it comes to playing with the gas.

x-pipe with high flow cats.. spl makes a set that you can remove the cats when your at the track and insert racing pipe that locks in..

Here we go again with the whole x vs. h pipe thing haha

X pipe: higher pitched than an aftermarket h..but still deep and nice sounding..nice at WOT..but in my oppinion gets raspy though...and some have said (including me) that it has a european -esque sound to it ( i know you love that one Nanaki haha)

H pipe: deep, classic muscle car sound it, not as nice at WOT as an X but definaetly holds its own..

Response from Nanaki: X pipes do not get raspy, I dont know why you guys keep saying that. And I have NO idea where you get that european sound to it.

Haha I'm just playin Nanaki...but it seems every time this quetion is brought up, I say my stuff..and that's your response lol

PS- get some stickers too

hahah yes! i called it lol word for word...i don't know nanaki...my interpretation of the sound it makes when getting ripped is raspy..it was on my friends 00 GT with Magnaflow catted X and Magnaflow catback with aftermarket glasspacks..but on my other buddy's 01 GT with SLP Catted X and SLP LM1..it doesn't get raspy..i dont know man..and it was my dad actually who thought that the x pipe on my friends 00 GT sounded european b/c it was deep yet somewhat raspy, higher pitched..

Let's put it this way...you can't go wrong with an X or an H..they will both sound extremly good in their own respect.
