Default 2004 Mustang GT w/ slightly irregular idle

I just bought this car. It has less than 4,000 miles on it. I noticed when it sits at idle that it idles fine for the most part, but I noticed a slight "skip" that you can barely see on the tach. You can actually feel it more in the seat, but the car runs perfect. Is this something normal or is it due to the fact that the car has set up so long. I have ran a can of Sea Foam through it, installed a new fuel filter, and changed all of the fluids.

could be a dirty MAF sensor, pull it and clean it with a Q-tip and sum rubbing alcohol.

It is located between ur air filter box and your throttle body when u push on the gas it opens it up so u will c a spring that opens it. There is a plug connected to it pull the plug off and take the two bolts off that requires a ford tool looks like a star socket with a hole in the middle of the star.

Dont do that. I have no idea what this guy is talking about, but he is wrong in every aspect of whatever the hell he is trying to say.

First off, the MAF sensor has no springs, or any moving parts at all.
Second, they make MAF cleaner for a reason, and using a free fibered device such as a q-tip is not smart. Just follow the directions on the can.

Now, as for your issue. You may very well have nothing wrong at all. I have this same "issue" at idle, and at first I was kind of worried, but after much research and replaced parts, it's likely nothing to worry about-UNLESS it is a serious miss or hesitation that causes it to stumble when driving or try to stall. I assume you do not have a check engine light on?

I know Ford-Lincoln-Mercury recommend Chevron Techron for fuel system cleaner. I bought mine last year with 14K on it. I started using it and it really smoothed things out. I bought MAF cleaner, and just sprayed it off (like the can says)and it helped as well. I also sprayed out my throttle body. Along with just driving it, it will smooth out.

Thanks guys, I was thinking that the mass air flow sensor was after the air filter. I will try to clean it with the cleaner and see what that does. I have no check engine light on and the car runs fine, I just feel something small at idle.

One more question, does the 2004 mustang have the problem with the spark plugs coming out of the head? If so is there any thing I can do to stop this from happening?

No the spark plug issue was a problem with Windsor heads not having enough thread. You have romeo heads.
+1 on cleaning the MAF and you could also check your TPS voltage to make sure it is approx 0.98V
