clutch tranny nock

Ok I have a 96 cobra and the tranny or clutch has developed a nocking noise. Only nocks when not in gear if I press the clutch the noise goes away. The clutch pedal also has vibration when not in gear. Is this the TOB or is it something else? Anyone in sumter area with a lift want to help change it hahahah

Sounds like a bad throwout bearing

Try installing an aftermarket firewall adjuster and adjust it to see if the sound goes away. It it does, it is likely the throwout bearing. It'll have to be changed soon...
