Default sensor question

I have everything done for swapping my 96gt to manual, i just cant get the car to start now...i know it has to do with the wiring and sensors, can someone post a link to pics of the sensors needed to swap to get it to start. thanks

Sounds to me like the sensor that singals the ECU that the clutch pedal is pressed.

Even though I am using a automatic wiring harness would I have this sensor?

I have no service info for the earlier modular models, however on the new-edge's there is a a starter interlock switch on the auto tranny that is in series with the starter primary circuit and blocks the starter unless the transmission is in Park or Neutral. If this connection on your auto harness is not jumped the starter circuit will be disabled.

FWIW here's the wiring diagram for that switch, from the 2000 shop manual:

thanks for everyones help, I got it started today I'm so psyched lol this is my first major mechanic job besides lowering my car lol...I think it was either that I didnt have the clutch pedal sensor pluged in and also I put the shift sensor in and put it in nuetral and it started right up
