Default Some filter questions

Okay so I have my car in the shop fixing the stuff that I cant fix on my own. There was the clutch and throwout rattling, the brakes pulsating, the engine ticking, and all that crap is FINALLY FIXED

I just purchased a new K&N Filter from Autozone, and a LuberFiner Fuel Filter that I am putting in too. (hopefully those work well for me)

My questions is, it the Luber Finer filter okay? I dont want some garbage filter that will ruin my engine.

And also the K&N drop in filter from autozone, if I remove the air silencer and the old filter, the effect will be just as good as a CAI for the mos part correct?

Thanks,
DMD

I'd just run a motorcraft oil filter, there cheap and one of the most effective.

Yep, I'm talking fuel filter. I mean, knowing myself, I'll probably end up replacing the fuel filter often, I just want to make sure the Luber Finer or whatever it is is a good one.

As far as Oil filter I'm pretty avid about Purolator filters, but thats just my preference.

And I have seen two types of K&N Air Filters, one that is chrome and looks bigger, and one that is all black. I have the all black one, the $50 one, and that will still be as effective as a CAI?

Yup you my good sir have the correct air filter. Just take off the silencer and you'll be good to go.
