Hose on vapor flow sensor found hanging (pic)
Been getting a CEL and looked under to find this hose not connected.
Just bought the car (96 cobra) and have no idea what the previous owner was messing with. Question is, where does this hose go? I have been searching for the answer all day and cannot get a straight answer.

If you dont see it near intake look down under power block near exhaust manifold area for that hose with red stripe.
if you dont see it in either place you are missing the hose.
Im guessing it connect near intake side because you said you had a CEL on .(Guessing vac leak).
did you pull code?
Good Luck..hope I helped out

Codes I'm getting are air injection system and evap ctrl valve.
Failed inspection with flying colors. Not sure if disabling them in a tune would make them show 'not ready'. My buddy's read N/A and he passes every time.
So should that hose coming off the sensor be a lot longer?

if you dont hear any vac leaks look for a plug (could be blocked off) in the back area of intake .

That peice is part of the EVAP system thats why you are getting the code, the secondary air injection system is completly different, that consisists of an electric air pump which is located int he passenger fenwerwell which runs to the two check valves then into the exhaust manifolds.

I was gonna go with a tune soon and just have it shut off. My buddy's shows up N/A on his emissions and passes. I'm hoping I'd show the same and not, 'not ready'.

I found the problem. It is actually was going to the TB. You can see where the hose was cut and capped off with a screw. Any idea why someone would do this and not just replace the damn hose?
