today I blew the heater house hose on my 98, it sprayed all over the drivers rear side of the engine bay, and it was knocking rattling and missing the whole way home but it never got past half on the heat gauge.[guy who's house I broke down in front of happened to have some sort of industrial hose sealer and it didn't leak]

I changed the heater hose, took the drivers side plug wires out and blew compressed air into the holes to dry it up, and tried to start it up and it wont start, it doesn't knock or rattle when its cranking so I dont think I blew anything else.

any ideas?
