Thats what Im thinking that its the IAC thats bad cuz I tried replacing it with an autozone part which is by duralast but was told I have to replace it with a ford IAC cuz duralast dont know how sensitive ford is with an IAC. Like I said I have to keep my foot on the throttle to keep it from die n. As soon as I take foot off throttle to brake it dies this is while Im tryin to drive it in the neighborhood which is almost impossible due to all stop signs in the hood.

When you replaced the IAC did you disconnect the battery for 5-7 minutes to reset the KAM (Keep Alive Memory)? This forces the PCM to learn new idle air trim values.

As to a Duralast vs Ford IAC, I have been running a Duralast (actually made by Wells, a Ford OEM parts supplier) IAC for over 2 years and 35k miles with no problems...

I did unplug the battery for over 3 hours then plugged it back in, started the car and same thing check engne light came on but the only diff is that my needles on the dash did not peg out to the right. but like before I have to keep my foot on the throttle to keep the car runni soon as I take foot off throttle it dies as soon as I take foot off pedal. Is it the IAC or sumin else?

You need to get a scan tool and see what the code(s) are, don't just throw money at it and hope you get lucky...

Ok I figured it out you know this is gonna sound dumb but when I was probing the connector to the IAC I guess I pushed to hard into the connector and pushed the two wires in the connector out the backside just enough that there was no connection on the IAC.
