Default silly question bout supercharger

I am browsing the internet for a supercharger when I find a Powerdyne centrifugal charger for around 3k. Not intercooled. I see in the list of parts that come with it that there is a custom chip. First, does that mean that the Diablo I just bought a week ago is going to be obsolete? Second, this sounds crazy I know, but without asking, I will never know. If I bought a supercharger, installed it on an 04 GT, and something went wrong, is there any way I could take off the headunit and leave the rest of it, like the fuel pump and whatnot, and be able to flash my original tune back with my Diablo so I could take it in to the shop w/o them knowing? If I don't supercharge it, what would you suggest? My current mods are in my sig. THANKS everyone.

well, powerdynes are trash, i'd search for a used vortech or procharger kit instead. and yes, your diablo would be pretty much useless. unless they offered to reprogram it for you. i wouldn't use a hand held programmer though, i'd dyno tune it. you could pull the head unit and piping out, but they might notice the larger injectors and fuel pump.

Just get a procharger and call it a day. They make some BAD superchargers.

Well, actually I decided to stick to n/a for now. I just ordered some new stuff with some money left over, and need suggestions. I just ordered new brakes and rotors, SLP catted x-pipe, steeda u/d pulleys, trueflow plenum with accufab 75mm tb. What else is there bolt-on wise that will be worth the money? If you add all this to my list in my sig, what do ya think I have at the wheels right now?

Good suggestions. GEARS are HUGE! Control arms and subframes rock.
