Major Alternator Problems!!! please help!!
this is my 4th alternator, stock one blew 2 years ago. then the other one blew 1 year ago and i bought one a month ago, that one blew yesterday. so i went this morning to buy another one... put it in this morning, and it just blew again tonight after doing 1-4th gear pull. what is wrong with my car. brand new battery too!
i inspected my power wire to my amp to see if i was grounding out but everything looks good. the only thing i can think of is horrible luck on rebuilt alternators but let me know what you guys think. thanks!

I had 1st alternator replaced 2 years ago (reman), it went out few months ago, then I replaced with a Ford oem alternator and it gave me problems immediately, it turned out Ford gave me a defective alternator. So I took it back, got new one and its been good since. I definitely wouldn't buy rebuilt or autozone alternators but just remember even the OEM ford alternators can be defective once in a while.
I've used reman alternators on other vehicles and they lasted for many years, sounds like you have something straining it, do you have a large aftermarket stereo system combined with underdrive pulleys?
^+1, there is something else wrong. Like Uber I have used generators from FLAPS for years and years (over 40, since there have been FLAPS) and never had a bad one--it's fashionable to blame chain store and rebuilt parts however there is very little if any truth in any of it.

OP, better define "blew"? Electrical or mechanical failure? Dramatic and sudden, just stopped making electricity, fast/slow death, etc.
Have you checked the power and ground paths between the generator and the battery?
With the engine running, headlights on, and heater fan on high, use a multi-meter to read the voltage between the generator's output terminal and the positive battery post--it should be close to 0.0V, not more than 0.6V.
Also measure the voltage between the generator frame and the negative battery terminal under the same conditions. That also should be 0.0V or close...
