I have the 3650 tranny and it does it everytime too. I just stick mine in first and then into reverse and it does not grind what so ever. Sometimes it goes into reverse like half way and i'll have to put it in first again then back in reverse and it goes right in with no grinds.

 

On my T45 Works great if you go into 1st gear first then put in reverse.

Have to love the Tremic's
