ruff idle - changed fuel filter
Just changed my fuel filter, spark plugs and wires. some days the car will idle up a mountain, some days its putting and sputtering.
I put some FI cleaner in the gas tank and shot some sea foam into the IAC. Tomorrow I will get my adapter and spray it straight past the throttle plate.
Thursday it was the worst, i was sitting in the drive thru and it was idling at about 500, normally it will idle at 600. It was making the car car and shake a little bit.
what would make it have good days and bad days? I suspect the fuel pump is worn out but IDK, it could be fine and its something else. A few winters ago the car wouldnt idle at all. I took the IAC off completely and cleaned it up and that fixed it.
any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

check the throttle position sensor, egr, and fuel pressure regulator. start cheap. i dont think its your fuel pump but you can do a pressure check to be safe. you gotta narrow it down, either fuel or electrical, and most of the time its electrical.
