ABS Light on and off

ABS Light on and off
So I was driving my car today with no problems, stopped by a friends house for a few min and when I left as I was driving away I noticed the ABS light didn't go out like it usually does when I start the car. Pulled over and shut the car off and then started it up again and it went off as usual, did the same thing when I took my girlfriend home. was on, shut the car off and started again and it went off.
Was searching around and most of what I read pointed to the ABS sensor. I did come find a couple things that said it could be staggered fitment tires, I'm not running staggered fitment but I am running aftermarket wheels with 1 1/2" bolt on spacers in the rear. could this cause the light to come on?

I would check the ABS sensors on the rear wheels and make sure something about the spacers has not damaged them.
A local "repair" shop installed gears in a friend's '99 GT and did not loosen/remove the ABS sensors when he push the axles in the get the c-clips out. Luckily neither of them were damaged, just pushed back off the brass inserts--we just had to push 'em back on:

So I took it to my mechanic and he said he couldn't find an ABS code but he also didn't have his other scanner to scan it from under the hood, and the light was off. I'm thinking it has to do with the spacers, I ran the wheels all last summer and didn't have any problems. It only seems to kick the light on when I'm backing out of my driveway. So maybe I'll just start backing into my driveway lol.
Hey Cliff, this is kinda off topic but its my thread so I'm going to ask anyway, how do you like your 3.73s? I'm thinking you're car isn't a DD but mine is and I'm trying to decide between those and 3.55s.

When I installed the 3.73s it was a DD, a 110 mile round trip, 80 miles on I-95, 5 days/week--these were to 80 miles of I-95 between Southern Saint Johns county and Daytona, where 75 to 85 is "keeping up with traffic" so I specifically chose the 3.73s over 4.10s to keep the engine speed at 80 lower, and lessen the fuel economy loss.
They cost me the 1.5 or so mpg I had gained by loading a custom tune, going from 23.0 to 21.5 average mpg; 4.10s would have dropped it a bit more; however YMMV.
I would not install 3.55s as the difference between those and the stock 3.27s would hardly be worth the cost.
Here's a link to my How Fast Can I Go in Each Gear? calculator that may help you decide.
