Sounds to me like one of your parents either passed their GI bill down to you or have 100% VA disability rating allowing you to go to school for free. That's the main reason I didn't pass my GI Bill down to my son. He would use the money for things other than what it is actually for (living expenses).

I may be wrong but it sounds like you're getting the stipend that comes with the free education and don't actually have a job (if your parents didn't tell you about the stipend...good for them). So you're actually not earning anything. Save your money to pay for an apartment and furniture after you graduate. Then go for go fast parts once you are truly on your own.

Twenty six year veteran of the US Army. I paid my dues so my kids can have better opportunities...not squander it all away on go fast parts and speeding tickets.
