Ziebarting
Hi everyone, I'm new to the post. I just bought a 2003 Mustang GT this past Saturday from a local car dealer, something I always wanted since 1981, when my 1965 Mustang got smassed by a drunk driver parked on the street the first night in our new home. What I wanted to ask is when I noticed on Sunday the car didn't have any under coating for rust protection. Should I get this Ziebarted, and do they still drill holes in the doors and rocker pandles to spray inside of them. Even though I don't ever pland on driving it in the rain, snow, and salt, but it did look like it had alittle rust up around frame and drunk area, all feedback on this will be welcomed.
Thanks

body rust on a 2003? wow thats really quick, i dont know anyrthing about Ziebarted but if you clean and dry the bottom of the doors and truck area and keep the car very clean you will see less rust. had a toyota and there notorious for rust. i keep the truck perfect, cleaned it on a daily basis and never had a spec of body rust on the 10 year old truck the day i sold it.
Ziebart is total BS. Dont get it. Todays cars are alot better than they used to be. Its a waste of money. You really dont need undercoating either. Unless you want to reduce on hearing road noise.
WOW!!! You mean no one on here has had their Mustangs under coated on here. Seems to me that the underside of a car would rust out if you didn't, from all the road grime and all.

My '00 GT has rust-proofing on the entire under-side of the car including all the suspension components. Not one spot of rust on the entire car, I gave it a good look the other day while it's up on jack stands, I'm happy with it. I want to see how it does dealing with upstate NY winters and the 40 million tons of salt that comes with it that I have to drive through. That'll be a good test I think [:@]
