Default 2002 Mustang Gt Headlight Electrical Problems

has anyone ever replaced their entire electrical system for the headlight before? my wires that goes to my headlights completely died. i checked all my fuses and none of them are broken. one side is completely out and the other side turns on after 10-20 times trying to on and off it. i tested it with the original bulbs, but still didnt work. i am currently running 35 watt hids. is there any other way i can fix this? i tried using a harness, but i think this harness is defected. i can try buying a new one and see if it works, but i think it would be useless because the other side that still kind of works is the only place where the harness will receive the signal to turn on the headlights will not respond correctly.

You can buy just the socket with a new pigtail at most parts stores for under $10. Just cut the old wires behind the original socket, clean up the wires and connet the new socket.
