Pistons Hypereutecic VS. Forged
Ok so going along with my build the machine shop called back and we were able to save my block from the pitting I had in cylinder 8. Ended up I will be running .030 over. Now after speaking with the machinist I am caught between choices here. The intention of this build is not to go to the track and make passes every weekend, its just a simple cruise around car that can still have a little bit of fun every now and then on an open freeway.
So with that being said are forged pistons really the way I want to go? Would I be just as well of getting hypereutectic pistons instead? And with any of this being decided what brand pistons would you suggest, Mahley, Wiseco, etc..? Thanks for the input its much appreciated.

Forged pistons are not that much more expensive and if you ever plan on upping the power later on down the road (blower, nitrous) then I would definitely advise that you get them. If you wanna stay stockish then stay with the hypereutecic. Any of the major piston brands will be fine.
