Default Shift kits opinions

Ok I really want a shift kit and my research has found me 2. I need to know which in ya'lls opinion is better. Transgo shift kit or the B&M shift improver kit. I am kinda leaning towards Transgo.

Default RE: Shift kits opinions

I have the trans-go shift kit and recommond it to anyone, here is a link to some info that is really good. I would stay away from the B&m kit. I have not heard anything/anyone that has installed one.

There have been some problems with the shift kits burnning out the o/d in our cars, but I have not had any probles as of yet and it shifts great. A lot of people suggest that you just do the Jerry-mod to your trans. If you follow the link and then select on the transmission it will talk about it all and provide some good info. I also suggest that you get a trans cooler and a trans temp gauge for you car also.
