Default Center console swap

I have a 00 gt that I want to put my double din dvd player in. My question is can I just buy the whole center console from a 01-04 and do a straight swap? I hate my cup holders. Cant count how many times I've turned a corner and spilled my drink. I know the Traction Control Button and Fog light buttons are different from mine, but besides some wiring am I looking at anything else? The car is a 5 speed.
