I would clear the code and see if it comes back, If it does pick up a new stock oil pressure sensor and replaceit. Then again reset the code and see if it comes back. I am betting that you do need to replace your stock sensor.

I will clear the cods this weekend and pick up a oil pressure sensor. I was thinking, could it be the IAC valve? Maybe I will clean that too.

my friend had this problem and he and an intake leak. Spray some brake cleaner around the intake manifold and see if you can find a leak

At ideal the car sounds like it has cams in it, but it dose not. The ideal is moving from 800 to 1,000rpm. It should read 1,000rpm. If I come to a stop, it goes down to 400rpm and I can put my foot on the gas pedal to the floor and nothing. About 20 secants later it goes up to 1,000 and shacks. The car is shacking like crazy. The motor is shacking and the fuel gauge is moving from 25 to 35 psi. It should be at 30psi. I give it a little gas and it smooths right out. What could it be? I think is a one the ideal sensors. I for got how to check for codes. Something to do with the holding down the trip as you turn the key. It gives me all this stuff but I do not know what it means. Where can I find out what is means? It looks like it mite have 4 code but I'm not shore till I know what I'm looking at.

Thanks, Mike
Damn. Could you do me a favor? Could you rewrite your post with a dictionary and check your spelling? I really want to help, but I'm not sure what in the world you're asking. I don't mean to be a dick, really. I just can't understand you.

At idle the car sounds like it has cams in it, but I do not have cams in my car. The idle is moving from 800 to 1,000rpm. It should read 1,000rpm. If I come to a stop, it goes down to 400 rpm and if I put my foot on the gas pedal to the floor and nothing happens. About 20 secants later it goes up to 1,000 and shakes. The car is shaking like crazy. The motor is shaking and the fuel gauge is moving from 25 to 35 psi. It should be at 30psi. I give it a little gas and it stops shaking. What could it be? I think is one of the idle sensors. I drove the car yesterday, I started it up and it ran fine. It stayed at 1,200rpm as it warmed up, no shaking. I gave it gas to rev the motor to 2,000 rpm and took my foot off the gas. The rpms dropped to 300 rpm and slowing went to 800rpm and it was shaking. So what do you all think it is? Sorry I know my spelling s***. How about this, I just fixed what I sow was wrong.

OK! Thanks! First off: A V8 mustang should not be idling at 1000rpms, unless it's warming up, or the A/C is working overtime. Now, you say that when you come to a stop, the car drops to 400 rpms. That in itself is completely normal. 400-600 rpms is the proper idle rotation speed. However, you say you put your accelerator to the floor and nothing happens for 20 seconds?! Now, if it's 2-3 seconds, it could be a sensor, as you imagine. But if it's 20 seconds (that must feel like an absolute eternity) then you have a serious problem. It could just be that you need a new throttle body--the assembly and valve could be really horribly miscalibrated. It could also be a computer problem. Have you installed any chip mods or anything like that? Remember, 20 seconds--if you're overestimating here, it's a different story.

And the IAC is located on the throttle body. See this post. All you ever wanted to know about the IAC. Pictures and all.

Again, if you're pressing the accelerator to the floor and nothing happens for 20 seconds, it can't be the IAC. 2-3 seconds, maybe.

I have s/c and it was tuned to idle at 1000rpm. No it takes like 10 seconds to come back up from 300 rpm to 800. With out putting my foot on the gas paddle. The car when at 300rpm it is running rich, the exhaust tips start to get wet. If I put my foot on the gas paddle when the car goes down to 300rpm it dose not come back up at all. Once I take my foot of the gas it takes a 10 seconds to go back up. I timed it today. When I shift the rpms drop to 300rpm, even if I'm doing 60mph, only when I put in the clutch. Here is list of mod with miles on them.

01 GT MOTOR 37,800 MILES

STOCK COMPUTER 3,000 MILES

WIRE HARNESS

RADIATOR

STARTER

POWER STEERING PUMP

SUPERCHARGER - SALEEN SERIES TWO ROTARY 18,000 MILES

AIR TO WATER INTERCOOLER - SALEEN 18,000 MILES

COLD AIR INTAKE 3,000 MILES

CUSTOM CALIBRATED MASS AIR METER 3,000 MILES

75MM THROTTLE BODY - BBK 3,000 MILES

FUEL 42LB INJECTORS - BOSH 3,000 MILES

SPARKPLUGS- 5,000 MILES

CUSTOM PROGRAM-PREDATOR 3,000 MILES

1 5/8" SHORT HEADERS - JBA 8,000 MILES

2.5" HI-FLOW CATS AND X PIPES - BASSANI 18,000 MILES

12" FLY WHEEL - COBRA 4,000 MILES

12" CLUTCH - MCLOUD STREET/STRIP CLUTCH 4,000 MILES

Sorry for the long post but I hope this helps. Here is what my motor looks like. This is the IAC the part I put a line around in the picture, right.
