Rar axle gear ratio - 3.73, 4.10, or 4.56?
I have an '02 GT convertible with a 4.6L all stock engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Only thing I've updated on the mechanics of the car is the clutch kit and that was to replace it with a Ford Racing clutch kit (so essentially nothing). The car is street driven on a weekly basis.
I have several planned upgrades for the next year, including eventually adding a Vortech SC. First up, though is a new throttle body, CAI, and headers/pipes/exhaust. Along the way, I'm also looking for better acceleration and changing the rear axle gear ratio seems like a good place to start.
I'm considering 3.73, 4.10, and 4.56. I've read a few posts here in the forums, but I'm not really finding a good comparison. Anyone with experience with the three that can offer some advice?

A couple guys (including myself) run a vortech S/C with 410's. It takes a bit of getting use to but it can be done. If you're running a KB I would suggest Higher gears but because the vortech makes HP on the upper end that't the way to go.
