Default Throttle Body size.

I've seen tons of throttle body size forums, but never have I seen where they included the idea of long tube headers. Currently have a CAI, BBK longtube headers, x pipe, straight piped. Still trying to figure out if maybe theres a stage 1 cam because this thing just has WAY too much power so not to sure.

Anyways, I know most people say stick with a 70mm for a non-forced induction, but do you still say 70 with long tube headers? I do not plan on going forced induction btw.

And, anyone know of a good cheap(ish) plenum and throttle body combo? I love the bbk from AM but its a 78mm.

There's all kinds of cheap tb/plenum setups. I heard Stack Racing and Dragon TB/Plenums are some good products and there also alot cheaper than BBK and accufab. Also I would stick with the 70MM. In this case bigger is not better. GL!

The reason why people say this is because a naturally aspirated engine can only draw in so much air (dependant on a lot of factors; cylinder size, valve size, valve lift, air pressure/temp just to name a few.) so it does not require the larger intake because it cannot draw that much air in.

Think of it like this.... you have 16oz of Coke... Why would you put it in a 32oz cup? it would just slow you down
