Front Brake Noise and Feel Issue
If I don't drive my car for a few days, a week or so, the brakes will make a rubbing noise when initially applied for the first few times, not really a grinding noise, but a noise as if contact with the pad just isn't happening as well as it should. And the pedal feel is soft, not fading or bleeding, but weak as in the brakes just aren't grabbing as they should under pressure. The noise goes away after using the brakes a few more times and the feel becomes normal again, but again the pedals aren't going to the floor or anything, they just doesn't grab well. If I drive it every day I don't hear it or feel it.
Any ideas?
I have the Brembo Big Brake kit on, since 2001 I think. Pads are good, and not wearing poorly. Pads are not wearing uneven or at an angle, so I'm sure all 4 pistons per caliber are working i.e. none are seized up or inoperative.

Do you live in a humid area, or has it been raining and the car suits outside? The rotors are rusting, and the first few applications of the brakes are cleaning them off. It's normal.
