Default 400hp DD for $9,000

I want to know if it's possible guys.. what do you think?

'00-'04 Mustang GT with blower producing 300-400whp for $9,000 (shooting for $10,000 or less here)

What do you guys think. I'm hoping to just buy a GT that's already supercharged or boosted for 9-10k because I'm not sure if I can go from a $6,000 GT (which is how much it will cost me to get one) and spend $3,000-$4,000 to gain almost 200hp! Doesn't seem likely.

Oh and it has to be daily so summer tires and no removing the back seats or anything.. I'm talking from a purely motor performance standpoint.

I'm no expert or I wouldn't be asking on this forum. Please, just stay positive and let me know what you think.

Wow that's excellent! Supercharger for $1,500! What about a turbo? I'd rather have a turbo. Can you also get a cheap turbo kit like you can with that supercharger kit?

Thanks!

Turbo is a little different story. I've seen people use the cheap turbo kits and have trouble with them. Your best bet is research the hell out either one and then decide on which one you can/want to do. I like the positive displacement blowers myself.

It seems like supercharger is the best option for &/hp. I like the turbo spooling sound when the wastegate opens and the blow off valve whistling sounds etc. This is the only reason I said turbo. I don't like the whine sound very much. Now if it was whine plus whistling and air pressure bov etc. I could enjoy it. Thank for the help school boy.
